| POSTER SESSION at Krannert Art Museum |
All Thursday evening events will be held at the Krannert Art Museum (www.kam.uiuc.edu), located on the UIUC campus.
The Museum is putting together an exhibition of French posters from World War I in partnership with the conference (see below).
Conference participants can view the posters during the Thursday events or anytime the museum is open: Thurs 9am-9pm, Fri/Sat 9am-5pm, Sun 2pm-5pm.

French Posters and Photographs of the Great War
April 18 through July 30, 2006
Graphically charged, lushly colored lithographic posters from World War I vividly depict the place of women in the war effort, the need for personal sacrifice on the home front, and the position of French colonial subjects. This exhibition of French posters is drawn from University Archive holdings and is accompanied by documentary photographs from the Rare Book Library at the University of Illinois. Guest Curators: David O'Brien and Emily Evans.
