Scope of the Conference
The research and interest on liquid metals has had a rapid growth in the fusion community over the last several years. The purpose of this symposium is to bring together scientists and engineers actively engaged in research on lithium applications for fusion devices so that recent progress and issues can be discussed in an open forum for the eventual development of attractive fusion reactors.
This year, the Scientific Committee has decided to open the Symposium also to the discussion and contributions on all liquid metals that could be possible candidates as plasma facing components for DEMO, breeding blankets and liquid metal loop systems.
The official conference language is English.
