This year we proudly introduce the Dale Brashers Memorial Lecture.

The Health Communication Online Master of Science (HCOM) Program welcomes your participation in our third annual 100% online conference on health communication: Health Communication Barriers, Breakthroughs and Best Practices (HCB3). This year’s conference will run from February 25-March 1, 2019.

As scholars and practitioners in the fields of healthcare and health communication, it is critical for us to understand the current challenges inherent to healthcare practice and research as well as share the newest innovations overcoming these barriers. Therefore we invite contributions to this conference that feature barriers, breakthroughs and best practices the areas of interpersonal, organizational, mediated, rhetorical and mass health communication.

This year the conference will also host the inaugural Dale Brashers Memorial Lecture, honoring a distinguished scholar in the field.

The Call for Presentations and conference registration are open. Educators, graduate students, postdoctoral students, researchers, medical professionals and professionals in all other healthcare fields are encouraged to submit proposals for presentations.

General registration will remain open through the start of the conference.
Registration for this conference is free, and you may attend without submitting a presentation. All presentations must use commonly accessible platforms, such as Powerpoint, Prezi, etc., and must include audio (voiceover) as well as visual content.

Those who view all of the presentations and complete a survey for each one are eligible for 1 CEU.
