The Université Diderot, Paris, France

The only fully multidisciplinary university in Paris, with departments ranging from medicine, geology or mathematics to French literature, sociology, languages and psychoanalysis, the University Paris Diderot has decided to place a strong emphasis on innovative research programs that address questions raised by interdisciplinarity. In this context, the *Translation/Transfer in the Humanities Research Program* has been launched in 2010, gathering scholars from the Departments of English Studies, East Asian Studies, Geography-History-Sociology, Linguistics, Applied Languages and Clinical Humanities, with a view to developing international partnerships for translation studies and investigating how translation studies can serve as a heuristic model for interdisciplinarity in the humanities. www.univ-paris-diderot.fr
