Sponsorship Opportunities

A highlight of the conference will be the presentation of the Neish award to young investigators who just started to develop their independent career. The Neish award recognizes excellence in phytochemistry and is named in honor of Arthur C. Neish (1916-1972), a pioneer in plant natural product biosynthesis. Funds supporting the Neish award are donated by the PSNA, the National Science Research Council of Canada (NSRC), Pfizer, and private donors.

The Society’s effort to stimulate early careers in phytochemistry is also exemplified by the “Phytochemistry/PSNA Young Investigator Research Grant Award”, which is sponsored by Elsevier and presented biannually to a dynamic young scientist within ten years of receiving their doctoral degree and currently leading an independent research program in the broader areas of phytochemistry at a university, or at a government- or not-for-profit research institute. This award ($10,000 USD) was presented last year for the second time. The award winner will deliver an oral presentation at this annual conference.

We hope that you will consider making a gift to support the conference. You may make a general donation or sponsor a specific event, such as the Banquet dinner, a Symposium, the Poster Reception, the Welcome reception, the Young Members luncheon, or host an exhibit table. We are looking for donations of up to $5,000.

Sponsors will be recognized in the conference program and in a rotating slide show during the conference. Gifts will also be acknowledged by the conference chair in his opening remarks and throughout the conference, including the banquet dinner. In addition, sponsors are entitled to a display table in the lobby outside the conference hall and/or a complimentary registration to the conference (one per $1,000, three maximum). We are looking forward to your support for this conference, and that you will consider having someone from your organization attend the meeting.

Exhibiting
