About the Conference

With regret, we must once again announce the postponement of the 2020 Chief Engineers & Facility Managers Conference. State and university guidelines still will not permit events of 50 or more participants, and the planning committee is in agreement that it is in the best interest of participants, their families, and their neighbors to do what we can to minimize the spread of COVID-19. We will hope to hold the conference in the fall of 2021. We will be honoring all current registrations, and we will be offering full refunds for anyone who has registered for the conference, or you will have the option of rolling over your registration and locking in your rate for 2021.

This affordable training conference continues to feature high-quality educational sessions on the latest technologies and applications used in the efficient and sustainable operation of buildings. Building engineers, facility managers and industry experts deliver presentations that offer conference attendees the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and discuss common interests. We are continuing to have peer roundtable discussions that will further enhance the classroom instruction through sharing of lessons learned in the real world of building operations and maintenance professionals.

The Illinois Chief Engineers & Facility Managers Conference is designed for both public and private sector chief engineers, facility managers and other key operations/maintenance staff responsible for optimizing the performance of your building systems and equipment. This program is developed by a committee of representatives from state agencies, facilities and universities with additional input provided by industry experts and the Illinois Green Economy Network.

We look forward to seeing you in the fall, 2021.
