We invite former Black Chorus Members to the commemoration of the fortieth anniversary of the University of Illinois Black Chorus. It is hard to believe that the Black Chorus has been singing and blessing people in song for nearly forty years. We want to acknowledge that accomplishment by inviting you to participate in a reunion choir during the all classes University of Illinois Black Alumni Reunion weekend November 6-9, 2008.
Former Directors, musician, choir members, and soloists are all invited to participate in this momentous occasion. Although we are still trying to get the word out to former members, please consider this as your official invitation to join us for the celebration.
In order to participate, you will need to do the following:
